HTP by Textilhogar reveals future trends in textiles

The trends in textiles for the coming season, reviewed in research report Monográfico de Tendencias Textil Hogar 2023 – 2024 (Trends in Home Textiles 2023-2024) are set to be revealed next week during Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar, which takes place from 20th to 23rd September at Feria Valencia.

Exhaustive research by AITEX that also involved a process of predictive analysis of trends in products, uncovered six key trends that will mark the future of textiles: Narrative Vintage, Expandable Interior, Emotional Expression, Techno-Cutting Edge, Natural Wellbeing and Supra Circular.

These six trends will be described on a set of information panels that will comprise a dedicated ‘Trend Space’ at HTP by Textilhogar. Each panel will be dressed with strategically placed samples of the textiles provided by the companies that were involved in the project. More than thirty manufacturers took part, all leaders in their particular sector. The space will be an unmissable exhibit for all professionals specialising in decorating interiors.

Also, and on the subject of trends, the Observatory for Trends in Interiors (Observatorio de Tendencias del Hábitat, OTH) will be presenting is latest Review at 10am on Friday 23rd September at the WDC Forum, which is part of Home Textiles Premium. The research was sponsored by the industry’s three, complementary, trade associations: AIDIMME, the Machine supply, Furniture, Wood, Packaging and Associated Products Institute; the ITC, the Institute for Ceramic Tile Technology, and AITEX, the Textile Institute, and carried out with support from the Valencia Institute for Competitivity in Business (IVACE), which is part of the Conselleria d’Economia Sostenible, Sectors Productius, Comerç i Treball  (Ministry for a Sustainable Economy, Manufacturing Sectors, Trade and Employment).
